As an avid reader of this series, this really tied alot of threads together from the entire series. It can still be read as a standalone if you start with this one, but it has a ton of the one with the previous books while giving Jullien's backstory. Loved being back in this world and getting to see his side of the story.

Truly enjoyed. A vastly interesting and intense read that was worth the time invested in reading it.

Like all of Kenyon's books in this series, Born of Legend is 50% sappy, gooey, heartwarming romance (that you can't get enough of), 50% psychotic alien assassins/pirates with heartrendingly tragic and disturbing backstories, and entirely chalk full of sarcasm and biting wit.

Wow! Such an amazing book. Jules rules my heart. Such a wonderful character. I wasn't expecting to love this book but I did. Hats off to Sherrilyn Kenyon, she delivered an awesome plot and action packed along with romance book that left me speechless.

I didn't think that I could love someone more than Styxx, but *sighs* then Dagger came along. Once again, Ms. Kenyon made me cry. I love feeling so much, but it leaves me with a book hangover. It also means that I'm going to go purchase something from Appolymi's Garden. The story was just so amazing. I think the Nyk/Dagger situation ended on the perfect note. Ushara's openness to Dagger was a sight to behold. I'm so glad that they found each other. Another beautiful read.
