“If poverty persists in America, it is not for lack of resources.”
Loved this book and how it dove into the lives of a few different people facing the housing crisis in America rather than just giving random statistics. A really great read if you’re someone like me who has ever asked themself the ignorant question, “how do people even become homeless?”

This was a heartbreaking but important read. It’s an incredible ethnographic account of poverty in America. The epilogue pushed this to five stars for me.
