"You wanna hide away from every piece of shit out there instead of fighting, then I'll build you a damn fortress...you need a monster to protect you from the monsters, then I'll do the dirty work. My hands are already filthy with it...but if you want to learn how to rip out their throats yourself, sugar, then I'll show you how to f*cking bite."

Are you kidding me?! All the feels in this book. The way the relationships develop, with Eden and the guys, with the guys and the guys, the new characters and players that come in...I loved every minute of it. Be prepared to think you know what's going on, only to realize you have no idea because the story is so amazing it keeps you guessing and entertained, and the spice is spicing and ugh...I digress. I'll wait however long it takes for book three because I know it will be WORTH IT!!

I was a huge fan, but always remember to take reviews with a grain of salt and read what YOU want regardless of reviews from others

This series has become my newest obsession. Do yourself a favor and read it.

I hated Eden in this book so much I almost DNF’d it. Somehow she became annoying, bratty and so dumb it’s really pmo just thinking about it again. I will still read the last book because the series as a whole is still good. But o swear if she doesn’t step it up in this last book 👊

What in the angst was this??? It was brutal.

This was going to be 5* I knew it from the start and then Lucky went and botched the plan which I felt undermined his training and experience. I know he’s carefree but not with that. C’mon. Also the end. It didn’t hit me with as much devastation as I know it did for some.

I loved this so damn much. I will be thinking about them until the summer when the final part comes out. I was thinking this is probably the smuttiest book I’ve read but maybe the smut is just top tier and I was invested in the characters so much. I think too that the plot and the spice balanced each other out quite a bit. It didn’t feel like smut for the sake of smut which can happen quite a lot. I liked how the BDSM/kinks were all explained too.

Mental health rep and recovery rep were top tier too. Also loved the glasses rep!

The audiobook for this is perfection!!! Such a great mix of spice and plot. I need the next book right now!

Disclaimer, I liked this book upon finishing it, but the first half was a monumental struggle. I almost dropped it several times. The thing is, you can have a successful sexy book... but when you make people read a never-ending very serious plot in a sexy book, it's torture. I got bored and started hating everything, like all the different POVs and all the freakin' nicknames, because for whatever reason, everyone has a nickname.

When we finally get past the plot-only part (a.k.a. the first HALF of the book), it gets nice again, because the author proves she can write emotionally compelling stories. The mens' POVs are still pretty stupid and I skimmed those, but Eden remains a fun and interesting character.

The sex scenes (when we finally get to them) are really good! I'm on the fence about giving the third book a chance though, because it looks like there will be more very serious plot.
