Y'all I am hooked on Eden & these men. And this story! I cannot tell you how many times I cried during this book. Several okay? And also giggles! Lots of giggles! Rebecca Quinn's sense of humor totally lines up with mine and I've really enjoyed the banter in this group. And the chemistry. 🥵🥵🥵. I'm all about the spice in these books. I want more, so much more! Give us more!
There is a TREMENDOUS amount of miscommunication/total lack of communication in this book. It gets quite frustrating honestly. I will admit there were some occasions where I wondered if perhaps it were a bit too much? But it wasn't to the point that I stopped connecting with the characters; I could really feel their fears and insecurities and pain throughout the book. I want to hug them and shake them and laugh with them. I totally want to sleep with them. I love that their relationships are developing at different paces and in different ways and that they are nuanced and complex. I'm all for the HEA but I do also like this dynamic where it's not all easy-peasy and everyone is just hunkydory all the time. There is a lot of upheaval and conflict in this book and I am looking forward to seeing how they work through everything in book 3.
I wasn't surprised by this ending of this book but it's solid and makes sense and also leaves lots of questions to be answered in Entwined. I love Eden. I love that she is bright and silly and shy and strong and naive and brave. I love all the men, I'm partial to.... well honestly I was going to list who I'm partial to but then I realized I couldn't really narrow it down. So we'll just stick with adoring all of them. All their flaws and strengths included. I cannot wait for Entwined!

It will forever be amazing to me that a writer can have more sex in a book than plot and still find a way to demonstrate character growth. I have a soft spot for all the men. I am happy they were coming around, but I fear what Eden did to save many others has hurt more than helped.
The plot at the end was devastating and I am dying to know when the third book is coming, but there is no date, just says asap. I am positive each man will "forgive" her in their own domineering way in the last book. Cannot say much for Madison though, I just hope she gets to kill Alistair.
I listened to this one on audiobook and, again, it did not fail to make the story better with all the talented narrators involved.

I didn’t like this book as much as the first. The plot felt dragged out a bit and the constant push and pull between some or the characters was a bit tedious.
