I really loved this, for the friendships, the dads are just the best, and of course the firefox named Cadno!!!

The illustrations went perfectly with this book. Especially showing Tanya

A really cute magical story about the last Firefox needing to hide out on earth for awhile in order to avoid being captured. Gay dads, adoption.

This was a middle grade that I think was just a little bit too young for me.

I liked the message and representation but it was done very forcefully most of the time but obviously that's due to having a different target audience that obviously is not a 26 year old.

So whilst it was cute, it didn't have the impact that I was hoping.

It was a cute story and I can appreciate the meaning behind it but not my favourite middle grade out there!
