Very disappointed with this one. Pretty boring and the characters act seemingly without motive. Very blah.

Well, that was intresting. It was really fast to read and the plot was exciting! There were some flaws of course
a) Fabrizio got on my nerves towards the end. He is really smart, but he didnt have to react like this. Yeah know his almost girlfriend was there, but you just met her. And you barely know her
b) I wish we could have some more intail in some of the characters past.
c) The ending, even though it was really good, it was fast. I could barely keep up (jk). The point is that when you write a book like that full of ancient myths and stuff like that, you need to let the reader take in the story and think himself what could the solution be.

Other than that, the plot and the backstory on Fersou curse was extremely interesting and i learned a lot. The plot was fascinating and the writing was really good. I would recommend it if you want something fast, pleasing and entairtaining. Oh, but i warn you, there are some pretty descriptive scenes in there so dont read it at night. Unless you want to have nighmares.

Mixed feelings. Read some rave reviews about the author and picked this book. This book is hard to classify - it is a part historical fiction, psychological thriller, and romance. I am having a hard time figuring out what I like about this book. For that matter it is equally is hard to say what I don't like about it.

I can't believe I've never read any of his other books. I'm going to look for more by this author. He manages to mix history/archeology and mystery in an amazing way. Definately worth the read.
