A quarter in and I just couldn’t connect with either lead character. The writing was good and story development a little slow but not bad. It turns out for me I just don’t get much out of the broken jock type characters.

This book was incredibly messy. But the biggest issue was poor pacing, which made the last third feel twice as long as the rest of the book.

i orginally bought her second book "kiss me maybe" but then once arriving home i realized she had a first book in the series!
Had to borrow on libby to read in
chronological order. What i liked about the story is the writing. Im a big fan of inner talk and confliction but my cons about this story were the tropes. i just didnt like them and thats not really the authors fault more so mine. i still will be reading the next book though
