This gets extra points for good communication and a plus size fmc and an amazing handling of that! It came up where it was relevant bc obviously people have feelings about their body and fatphobia is real but it didn’t like harp on about it or make it sound so crazy that she could have meaningful relationships and love interests because of her size but it also didn’t ignore her size like it was so good!! Also we love a story about girls who love books! 
If you’re looking for a cute romcom with heart, pick this up!

This was really cute. I loved Theo I thought his communication was great. The plot was lacking a little bit for me, it's definitely a character driven book.

Librarian Marcela Ortiz has secretly been in love with her best friend, Ben, for years and when he gets engaged she starts trying to move on. Ex-NFL player, and Ben’s brother, Theo Young has been in love with his best friend, Alice, for years as well and when she gets engaged he decides to do something about it. Marcela is quick to keep him from acting out his drunken plan at an engagement party for Ben and Alice. When a misunderstanding leads to fake dating, lines begin to blur.

I enjoyed this one, while it did feel a little rushed towards the end, but it was very cute and an easy read in the best way. It’s definitely worth checking out and I’ll be checking out what else this author has written.
