It was okay. It was cute and funny, for sure, but I didn't really vibe with the main characters being in love with the bride and groom. It was too love-square-y for me. It was still an easy listen, and I loved that Marcela finally realized her worth in the end, but I wasn't a massive fan of how the conflict of the whole story was that she and Theo, who were in love with other people who were about to get married.

The writing was good, the plot was messy in the really feels telenovela/irl type of way and I loved every single minute of it.

Marcela was relatable for me because her situation, and Theo was a gigantic cinnamon roll. I adored him every step of the way.

I love how I clocked Ben after a while and the dude needs loads of therapy. he's a dick.

Marcela and Theo embark on a fling when the people for whom they’ve each pined for years get engaged to each other. Of course they don’t intend to develop feelings—what could possibly go wrong?

This book started strong with a really good concept but the FMC kept going back and forth with her ideas and I could not. Also, none of the conclusions of any of the plot points felt satisfying, it was like something was missing. I did love the representation and Theo was also such a good love interest. I also loved the relationship between Marciella and her best-friend. Overall a fun read, but it does drag on a bit.
