This was an interesting read. I admire the author for not saying away from the flaws of her characters, but it did make it hard to like them. I also appreciated all the Texas references; the amount of times the characters went to Whataburger made me laugh.

This was a journey., but I really enjoyed this book. From the beginning I pegged Ben as "ain't shit" and I was right. Damn near all of the main characters in this book needed therapy, but that aside, Ben was the cause of SO MUCH. I seriously wanted to throat punch him a couple of times in this book.
