This book had me laughing hard and swooning harder as Charlotte and Reed danced around their obvious attraction to one another. Their tongues, weapons of mass destruction and temptation that kept me on the edge of my seat. This rom-com was a breath of fresh air in an emotionally fraught genre Vi and Penelope prove that romance can be funny and absurd and still make you feel EVERYTHING.

This book is funny, sexy and a lot romantic.
A enemy to lover office Romance for a change. This story is quite refreshing too. This author duo is one of my favorite and I'm really loving this book. Their stories on second chances at life and love is what I like the most.

I think it’s better to spend years treasuring a memory that might hurt sometimes than to never make one at all.

A good Reed.

Reed is a sarcastic, but lovable man. I loved their first interactions together and beyond. It left me smiling like a doofus and laughing out loud. He used his sarcasm to guard his heart, and kept him safe from the hurt he felt.

Charlotte and Reed are very compatible. Both experiencing heartbreak, both handled things differently. Stick with it and you’ll see why.

I liked Reed and this slow burn romance. I’m talking slow as a sloth y’all. But it was worth it in the end. I nearly stopped around a revealing point, but that was just from personal preference and doesn’t have anything to do with the way the book was written.

The story kept me going, and the ending was predictable. But let’s face it… this isn’t a suspense that requires secrecy until the end.

And I hate to admit this… but I got 60% into the book until I realized why there were Irises on the dang vase.

Overall, an angsty, push and pull read with a HEA.

This book was really sweet, I laughed so many times at Charlotte and Reed's back and forth banter, towards the end brought tears to my eyes and the epilogue was both heartwarming and heartbreaking but ultimately so beautiful.

30% into this i wanted to quit. In fact, I did quit. I deleted the book from my kindle. The dialogue was annoying. But I downloaded it again to skim through till the end, and i ended up reading it all the way. I'm glad i did. Not the best writing, but there's something here.

My favourite book from this author duo so far. I really enjoyed it. It was witty, fun, romantic but also significant. The only reason why I knocked off a star is because I listened to the audiobook and I cringed every time the female audio reader did the male voice.
