Down on her luck, Ally Morales just got offered the opportunity of a lifetime to work at the renowned women’s magazine. The only problem? Her new boss is Dominic Russo, asshole extraordinaire and the reason she lost her job in the first place. With their undeniable chemistry and a workplace rule that makes anything between them impossible, life is about to get all the more interesting.
I love Lucy Score’s work! She writes the perfect rom-com’s with the perfect mixture!! Dominic and Ally’s story is like The Devil Wears Prada if Miranda Priestly was a male who has no idea what they’re doing

So freaking good! This book deserve all the praise. I'm definitely recommending this book. The slow burn/ kind of foreplay that end up to nothing was EXCRUCIATING .... but I must be a masochist since I loved every second of it.
I think their dynamic is so funny. I love that Ally is not going to take shit from Dominic and it leads to a beautiful things. It truly felt like he needed a girl that could put him back in is place.
I do have once small "bad" thing to say though. There were moments where the book felt childish? Like they are both in their 40s but still acting like teenagers. It overall did not affect the way I felt about the book since it truly was a good read. I enjoyed the time I had reading it.
A definite 5 stars

These people act like children and never seem to grow up. I was shocked when it was revealed the FMC was actually a woman nearing 40 and not a 18 year old. There are a few cute things that happen but ultimately I just didn’t like the FMC Or MMC individually or together so it was difficult to get through.
This book started so well and it was unfortunate that I couldn’t follow through. It felt dragged on for too long, too many details on sexual tension / lust, not a whole lot of story line, and I was frankly a bit baffled and frustrated with the characters’ immaturity. The book is well written and funny, but it just wasn’t for me.
