The conflict at the end of this story made me so irritated, if it weren't for that I would have given this one five stars. One thing I cannot stand is when an author makes a character completely disregard everything they know about their love interest and just jump to conclusions based on their history of being screwed up. It annoys me. That's a me thing though I guess.
Overall the story was really good. It made me laugh multiple times and who doesn't love a successful rich man enemies to lovers trope? Pretty much everyone loves those right? This one was good. I quote enjoyed it and despite the conflict at the end that pissed me off I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance.

4.5 drunk Dominic stars:
By a thread made me happy! It kinda gave me The Devil Wears Prada meets Grumpy/Sunshine Office Romance!
I've been hesitating to read this because, for some reason, books becoming extremely popular make me lose interest in them. But after seeing it constantly in my Goodreads thread and people I follow rating it high, I finally gave it a shot.
And I enjoyed it so freaking much!!!
The story was great, the characters adorable, and I loved the tension and chemistry between the MCs.
And they communicated! Maybe this was because these two are older than the typical Office Romances I usually read, but it was refreshing nonetheless.
Did they feel like they were in their 30ies and 40ies? Not really, but I honestly didn't care because I loved them so much.
They were pretty immature for their age, BUT that was one of the things I loved about them lol.
Listening to them bicker made my heart warm.❤️

Loved this book. Good story and great spice. Crabby boss trope
This book needs a trigger warning for the main character all but selling her body to make ends meet. The attempt at making it sexy fell flat.
