Previously acquainted with snippets in letters Thomas would send back home it felt as if they had known one another prior to their meeting. Edward is unconscious upon her arrival at the makeshift hospital and she finds herself uttering the damn words “I am his wife”! In doing so she nurses him back to health and a state of consciousness. She wants to come clean, but they both realize they need one another to get through their time in the new world together.

okay this book had me kicking my feet, twirling my hair, blushing, and giggling like a little kid
I loved it! I loved everything about this book. There was drama and suspense. I couldn’t put it down. I didn’t want it to end. My heart sang and then I wanted the story to keep going at the end. I can’t wait to read the next one! These are slowly becoming my favorite over the Bridgerton Series.
