This was fun! I was a bit hesitant on Ryan at first but he really grew on me <3 Ryan and Indy's relationship is SO tender and really just quiet love and reading about them was so sweet. I think at times the book was too long-winded and couldn't keep my attention as long as the previous one did, which is why it isn't 5 stars but it was always fun when I picked it up again!

4.25 stars. This was great! I finally see what all the hype is about when it comes to Ryan Shay. I loved Indy. She was really sweet. If I'm being honest though she was a bit too emotional at times in my opinion because there were times she was crying over the smallest things. I get why but still. Idk, I guess because I'm picturing myself in a scenario and I would never cry in front of someone I barely know. I loved all of the side characters which is surprising because I dnf'd "Mile High" I love Rio, can't wait for his book.
I genuinely loved Ryan and Indys relationship. It was very pure and heartwarming. I loved the little things Ryan did for her. I loved the things Indy did for him. It was all very nice. One thing I wanted to happen was Indy telling her others friends off. They were awful and I'm pretty mad she decided to be the bigger person lol. Another thing is that I feel like about 50 pages could have been cut from this book and it would have been the same thing. Other than that this was really good!

This was a little bit hard to rate because I felt like it should have ended at the 80% mark. The final conflict made sense because it was something the main characters needed to discuss but it felt dragged out.

I also think that the author needs to trust her readers more. You don’t need to explain your metaphor. We get it. You also don’t need to tell us multiple times that Ryan gets fouled a lot without it being called because of his size and lack of championships. We can remember that information and it makes the writing redundant.

I did really enjoy a lot of this book which makes rating it so hard! It has tropes that I love. I really like the two main characters even if Indy did annoy me a bit at the end. The spice was really good and tense towards the beginning but even that was a little boring by the end. Basically, if it had been about 20% shorted it would have probably been 4.5 stars but it was dragged out to the point that my overall enjoyment was severely lessened.

Amazing. The sweetest couple and a story that made me cry, laugh, and smile from ear to ear so many times! The MMC is absolutely swoon-worthy and ticks all the book boyfriend boxes - literally in love with him. Indy is relatable and sweet and strong and easy to love as an FMC. It was nice to see more of the book 1 characters too and how their stories developed. I love that this series’ books are longer than typical romances, Tomford really builds a whole storyline for the characters and you get backstory and resolution all in one.

There were a few bits that were a little repetitive and I felt their relationship was a slow burn which was great but then all of a sudden went from 50% to 100% very fast. Overall absolutely adored this book though!
