Reading this book made me absolutely weep. The way the author captures the relationship between Patrocles and Achilles is perfection. Even knowing the story of the Illiad, it felt fresh and gutting. Can't say enough good things about this book

This book broke me and put me back together. It’s such a beautiful story, and the writing is just amazing! I couldn’t put it down! I fell in love with the characters and the way that they were perfectly imperfect 💖
This one became one of my favorite books ever. 
Can’t find a single bad thing in here. Prepare your heart if you’re gonna read this. ❤️‍🩹

INCREDIBLY investing reinterpretation of Achilles and Patroclus (and Briseis!) from the Iliad from the point-of-view of Patroclus. The story begins in the pair's childhood and follows their origins through

their deaths and, in Patroclus' case, a bit further.
