You know what, I think Sandman just isn't for me. I will say that I found this easier to follow than the graphic novels, but to be honest, I was pretty bored most of the time, and I don't really wanna listen to 7 more hours of this.
adventurous dark emotional tense medium-paced

Enjoyable listen. The additional audio features really enhanced the story. Has some pretty dark moments particularly violent scenes. I am interested in continuing in this saga.

I am personally not a fan of audiobooks.(especially comic books since it completely misses the point of comic books) But this was an absolute experience. If I ever go into a coma, I would prefer a replay of this audiobook in my brain over and over again

I am not one for audiobooks but this was wonderful. I knew very little going in but i was fascinated by the concept of a comic being made into an audiobook. The Sandman started as a long story split into sections and ended with a series of loosely connected stories all of which i enjoyed to different degrees. A Dream of a Thousand Cats was the weirdest. The voice acting in this was wonderful, so many different actors lending their voices to bringing this story to life. Neil Gaiman made a great narrator. I look forward to seeing these stories come to life with the coming TV show.
dark mysterious

An absolutely magnificent audioplay of the graphics. Immersive sound and music, brilliant acting, and the spectacular narration of Neil himself.
adventurous dark hopeful inspiring mysterious sad

Sometimes Audible really does a banger job with their audio productions. This is one of those times. If the second book ever goes on sale or is available with my membership, I'll get it for sure!!

This audiobook is incredible! It truly was like watching a tv-show without the "watching" part.

James McAvoy as Morpheus is the best shit ever I swear to God!

Even though this is a non-linear story for the most part and that sometimes can make it a little confusing I was always interested in whatever was going on, somehow! And now I really want to read the Graphic Novels and I'm also excited for the next audiobook!

I can't remember everything, but this story probably has all the trigger warnings under the sun so please be aware of that.

Replacing landmark artwork with overwritten narration and obnoxious voiceover overacting can't make up for the star power.
