Easily the finest audio drama I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The direction and acting were phenomenal, and the music and sound effects made things truly atmospheric. A must-listen for fans of the comic or just fans of horror in general.

So incredible to listen to as an audiobook, was so immersive almost like listening to a play! didn’t love the last short story, but had a great time listening to the rest of it !!

I could not speak highly enough of this audio dramatization of Neil Gaiman's haunting cast of characters and epic fantasy series. Spooky, tragic, challenging, and beautiful beyond description, I would vociferously recommend this to anyone who wants to be swept away into a world of fantasy and nightmare. After listening to the audio dramas of both Good Omens and Neverwhere, this definitely adds to the collection of earworms that forever take up residence in the crevasses of my grey matter.

Not sure if you have every dove into an audiobook with a full cast of characters and narrators. If you have, then you might've had to listen to a little jingle/tune in between each part, chapter, or episode. If not, then you need to live the audible life and dive into one.
You may or may not dance to it or get annoyed every time you sense the noise. For me, the whole "THE SANDMAN" with each episode it made me laugh in the beginning.. and then I started to wish that I lost my hearing. So, yeah, it got a tad bit annoying.. but at least I knew I was on a completely new episode/story. Even if the chapter alone couldn't notify me.
That being said, some of these stories were creepy and cringeworthy. I don't really know if I'm spoiling anything or not.. but there's an episode where a women says her best lay was with a dead guy. So yeah, I was very happy that I wasn't eating or drinking during that exact moment.
Other than that, some stories made me a bit sad but I get it. I was supposed to be an emotional hot mess while going through these dark adventures. I will even admit that the narrators did a fantastic job with everything involved with this book.
In the end, this was an interesting and wild ride that I definitely enjoyed.
