Let me just jump into it. The Coven is not worth your time if you’re a romantasy reader. This book reads an off brand version of The Zodiac Academy (please go read those if you want romance as well as a better world building). The sexual tension was non-existent and it ended up feeling juvenile when the main characters were grown.

I was convinced this was going to be a 2 star book, but the last 5 chapters confused and then shook me enough to bump it up to 3. I will admit, I was thoroughly entertained and giggled endlessly about how absolutely ridiculous it was.

It started out well but then got boring after a while. The plot felt like it was all over the place and I can barely remember what happened in the book. The main character was promising but she didn’t deliver.
