4.5 stars. High rating because it actually sucked me in but the world building needs help.

I will start off by saying I think the school should have been flushed out more. What are all the colors? What do they stand for? How many students actually attend? I think if she would have done a bit more world-building here, it would have elevated the story.

But now….. BOYYYYY.

SPOILERS:

That plot twist?? Smacked me right in the face. I’m a little confused on why charlotte said “help me fix this” right in front of the problem?? **Lucifer** but idk maybe it’ll be better explained in the next book? Anyways, is this life changing??? No. But did I enjoy it? Hell yeah.

So, so bad. Every trope put into one with NO reasoning. Just vibes and no plot but not in a good way.

i honestly don’t know how to feel about this…. her wording confused me multiple times and i had to reread the sentence like 8 times to understand. it was also advertised as a super spicy romantasy book but i would give it at most 2/5.

will i be reading the rest of the series?? yes i will

I am 96.7% sure I fell in love with the devil just now? It’s currently 730AM. I woke up at 5AM and started reading because I couldn’t get this book out of my head and then you end it like that?!? I’m upset. I am hurt. I need MOREEEEEE.
