Every story is very simple but so much more interesting than beginner books usually are.
Each story has 3 chapters and is flesh out enough to be interesting to read through while also being simple enough for A2 (maybe late A1) + level learners to understand.
After each chapter, there is a mini glossary of key terms used in the story, 5 comprehension multiple choice questions, and a quick summary of what happened in the story.
There are no English translations of the stories in the book, the stories are only in French.
This was very helpful for improving my confidence and abilities to read french. Thanks very much to Olly and Richard for this and if I ever try to learn a different language I will 100% pick up one of these again if it's available.

I'd like to point out that their system and the way they teach you complements your studies (grammar and vocabulary) well.
I find this book very useful to test your French while practicing reading and what you studied.
It's a good choice for beginners since it's a little hard to read a full regular book at this point in your studies. The same goes for the rest of the series.
