I enjoyed reading this memoir. Amy raises a lot of interesting points about life. At times, I felt she was a little raunchy, especially when talking about sex but she’s a comedian and that’s what they do. I would definitely recommend her memoir to others.

Very great read, interesting and funny. Making fun of bad moments or embarrassing situations. And I like it because if we would only cry when shit happens we couldn’t make ourselves stronger.

I really liked this book! As a fan of Amy Schumer, I enjoy her humor and critiques of society, and was really psyched to get my hands on her new book. It did not disappoint! It was more honest and open than I was expecting, which was a plus! In addition to humorous stories about her life, Schumer also dedicated a good portion of this book to discussing sexual assault, relationship violence, gun violence, and her complicated family relationships. This made for a very well-rounded piece that not only made you laugh, but also think and reflect on your own life after reading. I would recommend this book to those looking for an autobiography with a bit more substance and especially those who already enjoy Schumer's brand of humor!
Amy has an effortless way of writing that makes it easy and enjoyable to hear her story. I love reading books like this that capture an interesting persons life and perspectives and this book does that so well. I also so appreciate her willingness to go into some deeper topics. This is definitely a light read - chick lit type of book but an excellent platform to reach people in an honest and respectful way about real social issues she is passionate about. I thought it was great and wonderfully done!
