I enjoyed listening to Amy during my commute. We have, however, different lifestyles and senses of humor, and I prefer to limit my daily amount of exaggeration and curse words.

This was an entertaining audiobook, read by the author herself. I realize that I have absolutely nothing in common with Amy, but I still really like her and enjoyed hearing some stories about her life including past jobs, horrible dates, and lots of hilarious sex stories. There were some really funny sections (as would be expected from a comedian...) but also some serious topics including date rape. Amy is honest, blunt, and unashamed. She is not afraid to show her mistakes and be who she is (hence her crooked and ugly lower back tattoo...). While none of the stories really stood out to me, overall it was a quick and entertaining read.

Wow. Amy writes a very insightful book. She is an advocate and I admire her work and the experiences that she shares.

Loved this. Raunchy humor and lots of swearing make this highly entertaining. Her experiences with sexual assault, domestic abuse, and gun violence give it depth. I listened to this book and it definitely made it better.

Covers a lot of different aspects of her life and she is so relatable and honest. Really enjoyed it and her storytelling.

Listened to it on audiobook and completely binged. Solid debut, but its honestly just fun to listen to Amy Schumer. Interesting to learn more about her life and how much of Trainwreck pulls from her reality (or not).

Made me laugh out loud but also discussed serious and important issues

It was ok, entertaining most of the time

Listened to as an audiobook. I didn’t realize she’s been through a lot of shit, so that was surprising. Overall it’s a good listen. I found her chapters about her mom and her ex-boyfriend quite moving. She’s a good storyteller, but sometimes the self deprecation got a little boring.

Lovely and touching stories mixed with comedy and female empowerment. Amy Schumer used her life experiences and comedic genius to paint a picture of what it's like to grow up in a effed family and still come out as a confident, funny, wino. I loved it and would recomend it!
