Forgotten Legacy is the name of a rock band made up of four damaged souls who found each other in high school and became brothers with a dream. This is a series of connected rockstar romance novels in which these dark, troubled men find strong women to calm their demons.

Lead singer Gabe Mercer is the typical rock star man whore, however to get there he had to sacrifice his heart and his romantic chance with his childhood friend Harper. A story of second chances and redemption between Gabe and Harper, however also suspense and drama due to Gabe’s high-profile persona. While I understand his reasons, I cannot get 100% behind Gabe’s actions or Harper’s quick acceptance of him back. Keep pushing through the book and series as it all will make sense, trust me. Definitely steamy, contains triggers

Tattooed Memories is definitely a darker rockstar romance, however issues were sensitively written with amazing characters that had built a life after tragedy and found their happily ever after. As a rockstar romance fan I 100% recommend this angsty, hot series.

this book is fast paced and full of smexy hotness. L.Ann
has cultivated Gabes bad boy persona to perfection. She gives him a devil may care attitude to the outside world and a man with a few secrets up his sleeve.
The dark underworld of the music industry is exposed that is never brought to light as we are so blinded by the glamour.
Lots of delicious passion that burns you up as well as light hearted laughter between the two main characters. I loved the interaction between these pair. The other characters were really great and I’m sure going to look forward to reading about them in future books.
If you enjoy dark and twisted then this is for you!!

This book was picked for a book club I’m in and I’m so glad it was!! I have never read a book by L.Ann before, but that is going to change! I have to read the rest of this series!

In this introductory story we get to meet the Forgotten Legacy band, these men are so much more than what they let the world see. This book gives us Gabe’s story, the front man, the heartless bad boy, except he’s not heartless he just gave his heart to Harper when he was ten years old.

This story goes into their past and back to their present, and all that does is gives us so much more to love and connect with. You are going to fall for Gabe, you are going to love the strength in Harper. You are just going to love these two.

There is so much emotion in this one, and let’s not forget the heat, I mean WOW. Go grab this one, it’s got it all!

Perfect second chance Rockstar romance it’s so good I’ve listened to it 3 times.
Harper Jackson has tried for years to forget Gabe Mercer but it’s been hard as being a Rock Star he’s always in the media.
Gabe has never forgot Harper and how she saved him many times growing up together but now he wants her back in his life and he will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
Loved this book so much and the flashbacks to Gabes childhood brought one or two tears to my eyes ,when he treated Harper the way he did I wanted to hate him but just couldn’t. When I listened to this last year I had never listened to anything by L. Ann or the narrator Thomas Locklear but they are on my top author and narrator list now .

This story had everything I love in a romance book. It had a smoking hot, dirty talking, broken Rockstar and a smart and sweet heroine. I loved the connection between Gabe and Harper. I loved the childhood friendship and how it grew into something else. I love that Gabe doesn't see himself worthy of her and always pushes her away. Their coming back together story is just as sweet. Harper doesn't see the rockstar the newspapers say he has become. She sees the boy she used to know. The beaten and battered boy who she has always loved. Through out the story you get to see little pieces of Gabe's heart. Not only with Harper but with the rest of the world. Little things he has done with his stardom that no one else knows.
The only thing I didn't like and the reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is I felt like the climax was rushed and unrealistic. It felt like the girl who Gabe thought was stalking him and Harper had said her piece and was backing off then we find out that Miles, Gabe's bodyguard is the one who kidnaps Harper and he does it for his sister who is the former stalker. I just felt his reasons for doing it were off. Through most of the book, I thought the kidnapper was going to be his father. In the end, I'm glad it wasn't because I liked that story arc.
Never the less, I loved the way the two overcame and come back together. I loved the Epilogue and getting to see the other guys a little more. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.
Also, I need to make mention of this cover art. One of my biggest pet peeves on most authors book is the cover model isn't the person described or the one I pictured. But this cover goes to new levels. This IS Gabe!!!!! Down to the tattoos and the Lavender fingernails holding his arm. I love it!!! Props to the designer!!!

This book was amazing!
It’s not my usual genre but one of my favorite authors wrote this and I decided to give it a try. Spoiler alert you will never look at ice cubes and strawberries the same!!!
I loved how Gabe and Harpers story unfolded and was explained why they weren’t together but all that they had been through. The author weaves a story that makes you finish the book and go when is the next one being released?! The author gives you a great story which has twists and turns that you don’t see coming. The antagonist was a upsetting surprise but this author is known for throwing curveballs. I loved seeing Deacon and Shaun again and how the friendship started and lasted.
A phenomenal read that was well worth missing sleep for.

I'm not one for rock star romances but as I love the midnight pack books and meet gabe through them, I was intrigued. It's quite a dark read. Two souls which were constant in each other's lives in their youth are brought back together again. The love they had for each other was held back from some twisted sense of letting the one go, only to return when he could make it right. Harper was a strong element in this story, she wasn't going to give up on the betrayal she felt from gabe. Gabe have his persona a larger than life appearance to mask the sorrow in his life. I really enjoyed it.

Not my style of book. Completely predictable. I knew what was going to happen the entire book. The plot twists didn't surprise me. I think that's why I was so bored and not invested in the story. It was too obvious what was going to happen. And personally, I felt that Harper let Gabe back into her life way too quickly. They really didn't talk any of their issues out, not fully at least. Gabe had a lot of past trauma and he used it as an excuse to treat harper like crap for most of the book. He did some really sweet and amazing things. I just felt he needed to really grow up a little more than what he did for harper.

Beware, you won’t want to put this down

This is a wonderful story and you can see the lines being laid to come together in one hell of a bang. I can’t wait to read the full series. This was all very believable and real. Plenty of spice to keep it interesting while the story was coming together. I highly recommend this book if you like spice. Be trigger aware.
