I love TM but this is a dash too self-consciously Aimed at the mass market, that perplexing thing we call public. The work they pull out through Hyperobjects and others earns this demeanour and I don't find myself too rattled by it but this book is really not the place to be. please don't start with TM's work here

More philosophy should be like “I’m just going to tell you what you’re already thinking and feeling. BOOM you’re in the framework now. Also because of what the idea is it’s literally impossible to unthink it. Checkmate friends”.

Some parts of this were really interesting and had some great ideas/fun facts about things that tied in nicely. However, I felt like the main points got lost in a lot of the text, which seemed unnecessary and didn't really flow to form coherent points. There was a lot of waffle in between and at parts I was confused at what the author wanted to really say/if they were actually saying anything? Confusing with some good bits.
