Fun on audio, loved Holdups!

Enjoyed the stories in this book. I did think it was a little odd though with one really long story and then a bunch of little stories.

Meh, this is standard chick lit.

The first story was quite good and it was much longer than the little stories that followed and if I am honest its the only story I remember. The rest are very forgettable.

I needed something light to read for a few days and this filled the gap but its not a book I will actively promote.

This was pretty average. It contains a few short stories and a couple of longer ones, including the one that gives the title to the book. That was the one I liked the least, unlike most reviewers here. The shorter stories were slightly quirkier and more thought-provoking while the biggest ones seemed extremely generic romance type of stories. I liked the story about the other woman's shoes and the woman who finds someone's mobile phone. But the parisian enchantment and romance of the bigger stories is not really up my alley.

Listened to this one. I have decided that I am not the biggest fan of short stories (at least not in an audiobook format). I started to get into the first story (which was more than half of the book), and then it switched stories, and I could not keep the rest of the book straight.

Just a shorter version of everything I love of Jojo Moyes! It was wonderful! ♥

I enjoyed the Paris For One novella, but the short stories left an awful lot to be desired. Overall, very disappointing.

It was fine. Cute little short story. Never really got attached to any characters. Too short for any significant character development.

What a great holiday treat; JoJo Moyes writes with as much humor as she does with relationship angst. Each story is a delight, but my favorite is the first Paris story. Nell is in a rut, and realizes everyone thinks she would never be spontaneous. After planning a trip to Paris for the weekend, her boyfriend doesn't show up, but Nell stays and experiences the life of a Parisian. Recommended.
