Very interesting short stories, though most were about disappointed love, which was kind of a bummer. But well-written and engaging. I liked the main story most, Paris for One.

As anticipated, this was a quick, easy read. Mostly about women a bit older than me with husbands and families, so I didn't highly relate or anything, but I still enjoyed it. The titular story was probably my least favorite just because it was so cliché and the romance didn't feel natural - it was fun to visit Paris though! Good, if somewhat underwhelming, choice to tide you over until Moyes comes out with her next showstopper.

Brilliant short stories that I loved very much.

Eine kurze kleine Geschichte über Nell aus England, die unerhoffterweise ein Wochenende allein in Paris verbringt und hier die Konventionen hinter sich lässt.

Fun read

Very enjoyable. Didn't realize it was short stories until I began reading. Was quite a pleasant surprise! All were fun to read.

This was a really cute short story and then book of even shorter stories by Jojo Moyes. I loved the first story about a woman who ends up in Paris alone because her boyfriend says he can’t make it, but she ends up making her way on her own despite her insecurities and even meets someone. Then the other stories were quick but one was the obvious start of her new book Someone Else’s Shoes which was neat to read after having read the novel.

I enjoyed 7 of the 9 short stories 👍🏻.

Jojo Moyes is always a reliable read, and I don't even generally like short stories. I really liked Crocodile Shoes and The Christmas List, and especially Paris for One. I wish that she had made it into a full book. I would have liked to have read more about Nell and Fabien!

I liked the story, but I was extremely disappointed when I figured out that only half of the book is really Paris for one. The second half is a mix of other short stories. It doesn’t make any sense!
