Jojo Moyes excels once again with ‘Paris For One & Other Stories’ sharing relatable characters and superb writing, infused with clever humor even in the toughest situations.

Her stories revolve around troubled love relationships, told from the perspectives of women at various stages in their relationship journeys—whether dating, newlyweds, happily married, unhappily married, or newly divorced.

Quotes from the book I love:

“You don't ever do something just because it makes you feel good?" The assistant shrugs. "Mademoiselle, you need to spend more time in Paris.” - ‘Paris For One’

"I realized pretty quickly I couldn't marry a man without a bookshelf."
"No bookshelf?"
"In his house. Not even a little one in his loo for the Reader's Digest."
"Many people in this country don't read books."
"He didn't have one book. Not even a true crime…” - ‘Holdups’

I enjoyed most of the stories, but some of them was just wierd. Did not get the message of them. Some made me go "what?", most made me go "awe so sweet!" My favorites are Paris for One,Honeymoon in Paris, The Christmas List and Margot. Will recomment it of you are a Jojo fan, but not planning on re-reading it.

Jojo Moyes is a new find for me and I am enjoying all of her work so far. Her characters are all so real -- flaws and all. This one featured one longer short story (Paris for One) which I did enjoy, but I must say I really enjoyed the other short stories possibly even more. It was a nice escape to read just quick pieces with fun characters and interesting twists.

This is a book of short stories. The first story was the longest and the one I enjoyed the most. The others were very short and not as good as the first one. I would have rather has the first story expanded and have been a stand alone, thus the 2 stars.

Paris for one was really cute. My fav stories out of the "other stories." A really good short read, perfect for summer. The main reason I wanted to read this book was because I needed a quick read.

It was alright. A bit too cheesy. Preferred the longer stories over the shorter ones.
