Marvelous. Well crafted, clever, and engaging. Worth your time

WOW.

This was another audiobook I thought my fiancee and I could enjoy on our road trip; however, my fiancee said it couldn't keep her attention and I thought the interconnected stories were OK at best. My favorite story was about the man who finds the groom in the storage unit and wished that was a full-fleshed story.

A really unsettling and vivid collection that leaves me feeling somewhat adrift. Atwood is such a treasure.

Atwood is the man. Yeah, I know she's... dark, funny, insightful. I loved this collection. Sometimes it was all about revenge ("Stone Mattress," the story); sometimes it was the sputtering out of rage into love ("The Dead Hand Loves You"). Silly ("Alphinland") or a great set-up ("The Frozen Groom"). Three of these stories are interconnected but stand on their own feet. I loved this collection. Did I already say that?

Sin duda, este libro no era para mi... lo he terminado haciendo un esfuerzo. A pesar de eso, no puedo decir que no tenga virtudes, pero no ha conseguido engancharme.

I think I can say that for every single one of these tales I wished I could read a full novelized version. I want more!

Really interesting collection of short stories. I like some more than others, but the writing was so immersive. I was impressed by how quickly she was able to write a new world with all new (to me) characters.
