In this desert land, there exists great magic and these mysterious dungeons that house rare riches.

Young, intrepid adventurers who are brave enough to enter these dungeons and defeat the protective measures within may walk away with wealth and so much more. But, few folk manage to survive these dangerous places and the more fearsome beasts within.

Enter Aladdin.

This young boy is on a quest to find a particular artifact — one that will help him set his loyal friend (and djinn), Ugo, free from the flute he is imprisoned within. To find this artifact, Aladdin must search these dungeons.

With the help of his new, street-smart friend, Alibaba, will Aladdin be able to survive these dungeons and help set Ugo free?

So far, this is a really fun story about magic, reimagining traditional folklore into new settings with interesting characters. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more~

Aladdin is so cute I wanna pinch him :(
I loved reading this. Such a simple fun manga.
medium-paced

Strikeouts:
- not sure whether to find the storyline juvenile or pervy creepy, considering the protag looks like a kid, acts like a kid, and talks like a kid, yet somehow we get content about whores and panels where characters are groping or thinking about groping boobs

- the women are slaves, voluptuous prostitutes, defenseless, and/or way too satisfied with their positions in life to do anything about their pitiful situations

- seriously, laylah would have been cool if she'd done something about her predicament and not let some kid with his djinni do all the work

- don't even get me started with morgiana, who seems to think serving her selfish overlord is a good thing (I'll be even more disappointed if her motive is love...like seriously can you get any more annoying)

- Ali Baba's a dumbass

- there seems to be minimal connection to the name of the characters and the stories they're loosely based on, which is another letdown considering I adore the source material itself

I'm probably being overly harsh on the first volume, but it's safe to say I'm going to be staying away from this series.

It’s a great Start for the story, the Introduction of the two main characters was so good, The mixing between Comedy and Action was so good...Can’t wait to read the next volume.

I've read this manga before, but fan translations and as it was updating online...I think it was just past the Magic war Arc? i don't remember it's been a long time I would say at least ten years ago?

Anyway, Magi is just starting and setting itself up with this volume so nothing too intricate or exciting is happening. We just are meeting Alibaba and Aladdin.

Ohtaka has me go a little hmm with the moments of boob squashing Aladdin(why?) and Aladdin kind of just being really gross with Budel(He is a terrible person but not due to him being fat)

Stuff like that just makes me go ick. Stuff that before I didn't think too much about, but I remember loving this series a lot.

I'm excited to continue on this magical adventure.

I've never used this phrase before, but *ahem*: dafuq? I don't think I can wrap more words around my not caring for this title. So, I'll leave it with that single word.
