I really enjoyed this book I recommend it to everyone and anyone. It features six novellas my favourite was Head Over Heels by Annete Lyon. The stories are all about road trips which end in two people finding the one. Each of the stories are funny and sweet this is the perfect book for beach reading something light that you can read even when your busy. You can pick it up and drop it whenever you like but when you come back you'll still be interested. As they were novellas they didn't drag on like a lot of books today. They were realistic about real people that actually could exist unlike most books which feature model types which scream perfection. This book is definitely one that should be read as it makes you feel warm inside and you'll just love the characters all of them they were all likeable and acted like anyone in the real world would. This makes it a great book.

Another fabulous addition to the Timeless Romance Anthology collection! I absolutely love these collections of short stories by some of my favorite authors. I'm always interested to see how each story will relate to the main theme, because they always turn out to be so unique. In this collection, the stories all revolve around a road trip of some sort. There are road trips with old friends, road trips as part of a 19th-century themed reality show, road trips with someone new and road trips to get a second chance. It's hard to pick a favorite - I loved them all!
Another reason I love these collections is because the stories are all short enough to be read in one sitting and yet they are developed enough to get to know the characters and leave me with a satisfied happy ending! (Although there are many times I would love to read more!)
I received a free e-book copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

My toxic trait is continuing to read contemporary romance when I know damn well I rarely actually enjoy it.

What Falling Feels Like by Jolene Betty Perry: This was a fun and cute story that started out a little predictable and then took it's time developing. Fun interaction between the characters, reconnecting after years apart.

Antiques Road Trip by Sarah M Eden: I loved the concept of this one and the characters but felt like there should have been a lot more to the story -- a look at the other team trying to win, a longer contest. This one definitely could have been developed so much more fully into a full-length book.

Wouldn't It Be Nice by Ranee' S. Clark: Cute story, a bit predictable, but the characters and their connection were very enjoyable, as well as the road trip with their siblings and friends from Montana to Alaska and the stops along the way! It definitely made me want to go! Very enjoyable, light read.

Head Over Heels by Annette Lyon: The plot of this was a bit of a stretch for me in the plausibility arena, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the writing, the characters' interactions with each other, how well the author developed things in the short story, and the 80s songs thrown in now and again. Fun and enjoyable novella.

Two Dozen Roses by Heather B. Moore: I liked the dual road trip where the 2 main characters meet. I liked the fun element Dayna's mother added to the story, and I was intrigued with Dayna's personality and ability to see through Garrett's shallowness and instead fall for Roman. I liked the stops they each made while on the road trip up the PCH and would love to find and take a similar recommended route with fun, out-of-the-way stops along the way!

Try, Try Again by Aubrey Mace: A cute, fast-paced, humorous approach to the road trip - heading to a funeral to try to reunite with a lost crush, with an extremely pregnant BFF in tow. Such a cute short story!!

(3.5 overall) This was a fun little grouping of romances. Some couples fell in love on the road trip, some fell in love because of the road trip, and some fell in love years before the road trip. You just have to read the whole collection to find out!

This is a light read, and it takes about 20-30 minutes to read each little section. It was fun and simple and cheesy, the perfect combination for a romance anthology! Since there were six stories, I will review each of them separately.

What Falling Feels Like - 3/5 So this little story starts off with a beautiful woman named Kendell who is at a very crappy time in her life where she is recovering from some poor decisions. Her confidence is shot and she is getting back on her feet when suddenly a figure from her past shows up hotter than ever. Was this story predictable? Mostly. But it was also fun. Though, I don't really like the idea that she only started liking this guy after so many years because she saw him as hot for the first time, I appreciate the idea that people change and sometimes they enter our lives at the right time. Not my favorite, but a sweet little start to the collection.

Antiques Road Trip - 5/5 This story was definitely my favorite. The main character, Kelsey, is a fan of all things Austen. That era is her specialty and no one can change her mind about that. So she enters this contest to be a part of a road trip through time where she gets to dress up like a young lady of that era and live in the past. It was such a unique little story that I was not expecting in this collection, and for that I loved it. It was fun and there were several twists. I wish it was longer and that there were more details just so I could love it even more!

Wouldn't It Be Nice - 3/5 This was a cute story about a group of friends taking a huge road trip together before the next step in their lives. Jacqueline is out leading lady and she is in the midst of a break up when she discovers she may have made the wrong choice even dating the man to begin with and ignoring the other man that has been in her life forever. It was fairly predictable, but sometimes you don't want too much drama in such a short piece! Everything seemed to move so quickly though, which I guess I should expect. Not my favorite!

Head Over Heels - 2/5 this was definitely one of my least favorite stories. The sad part is that I love the cliche storyline where two people are attracted to each other and then are thrown together by a separate friend that neither one was aware they had in common. Well, that was all fine. But the constant pop culture references were getting a little old. Everything had to be like something else. It felt like the story had little to do with the couple and all to do with some free advertising. I know they were at a comic con, but that doesn't mean everything someone says has to be connected to pop culture.

Two Dozen Roses - 3/5 What a sweet little story. In this one, Dayna is the star who has had a troubled past with men. She believes she doesn't need a man to complete her life, and she doesn't, but she would like one anyways. The problem is, they all seem to be terrible people who keep letting her down. So, when she meets an attractive man while on a roadtrip along the coast with her mother, should she trust him or now? This story was also quite predictable, but there were several little roadblocks before finding out exactly how the two will end up together.

Try, Try Again - 5/5 I liked this one. A lot. Maybe because I felt like I could actually relate to the main character, Sarah, who is scared when the one person she wanted to be loved by starts to give that to her. There is sarcasm and gambling and a funeral. All of these things somehow come together to provide a nice, and more realistic, romance between two people who like each other but don't know how to tell each other. The one problem I had with this was it said Portland was along the coast, and that is just not true at all. Sure there is a river there, but it is hours from the coast. If a geography problem is the only thing I found wrong with the story however, that makes it a good story in my opinion!

Overall, I enjoyed reading this little series. It was short and sweet and I could read one little story at a time at the end of a long day. They almost always put a smile on my face while I was going to bed, and isn't that how every night should end?
