I was hooked from the start! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and just when I thought I had it figured out, bam I didn’t! I saw a lot of mixed reviews people had on this title, but I personally enjoyed this book and found it to be better than some of her other books.

The plot was intriguing and there was so much potential but the execution wasn't well done at all. The twists were so unbelievable that it took the enjoyment out of reading it for me. What a chore to finish.

The first two-thirds of this book read more like a story of two manipulative mean girls fighting over some mediocre man than like a thriller novel. The last third would have been thrilling…if it hadn’t been predictable on every level. The writing was decent though and I read it in a day - those things alone saved it from a one star review.

I found myself anticipating the twist ending early on, and to my satisfaction, I was partially correct in my predictions. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the unexpected turn of events that unfolded towards the end of the story. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the overall plot and development, I did feel that the final chapter was rather short, leaving me wanting more.

This book is good. I’m struggling to review it because all the elements are there but I felt like it was a little out of order if that makes sense. Overall though it was enjoyable and I enjoyed the premise. Without revealing too much it got me good lol
