I really loved the first half of this book. The tension was palpable and the plot felt fresh and exciting. Around the halfway point, I started to have doubts about where the story was going. The first plot twist was definitely shocking but for whatever reason didn't hit me that hard. The rest of the book felt predictable... though that's bound to happen when you read thrillers so often.
The pacing was fast, the writing was good, and it was a worthwhile read. Would definitely recommend, just not my favorite.
