I am giving this book for a friend as it was on her wish list for her baby shower. So I couldn't resist reading it first! Each letter refers to a Star Wars character or characters, including species. A couple I was unfamiliar with like for I and Z but those are though letters. Also I've never seen the animated show Star Wars Rebels that the Z character is from. A cool thing is that letters refer to characters from all the movies from that animated show to the original trilogy to the prequel trilogy to the new recent trilogy. For an ABC book, it is quite wordy as rather than just have a word that the letter corresponds to, a poem is also there that talk about the name. A word of warning about the poems though is that there are spoilers, in particular family dynamics of the original trilogy so you may want to decide whether or not you care about exposing your child to spoilers or not. The illustrations in this book are very cute.
