I think this is the quickest I have ever read a classic novel before. I really enjoyed this book! Anne's character was enjoyable and quite relatable - I was rooting for her the whole time. Wentworth was captivating and I enjoyed how they both explored other love interests, but always knew their hearts were set for one another. The second chance romance kind of trope really pulled me in and made me want to read the novel as I feel it's not something you see a lot in classic literature. I have to say that I think this is my favourite of Jane Austen's novels that I have read so far (pride and prejudice, Emma and persuasion). Overall, I'm not one to overly enjoy classic novels (though I read them), but this one I certainly did enjoy.

The flow of emotion and opinion is so satisfying in this story. Its easy to make a missed match story frustrating due to characters making dumb decisions but that is not the case for this story!

Reread: I LOVE this. My favorite Austen story, and now I need another DVD of it.

I love it. I love it. I love it! My favorite Austen story; about a girl who lets herself be persuaded that her suitor isn't a good idea...then regrets it ever after.
