Liked the way it was written. There's only a couple paragraphs in each chapter, each chapter quickly explaining a "rule"

Quick, fun read, mostly common sense...

Extremely short book. A lot of tidbits under one small cover. For me, it was just reinforcing what I already know and practice myself. But 5 stars recommended to anyone looking to get inspiration to make better food choices.

Eh, nothing new here, but it never hurts to read a reminder.

I'm a big fan of Michael Pollan. I have been ever since I finished An Omnivore's Dilemma (which I recommend to just about everyone). I enjoyed this short read because it felt like his other works. It included a lot of great tidbits of information and advise to support his stance on eating and the typical Western diet.
"Eat food. Mostly plants. Not too much."

This small book isn't exactly what I thought it was going to be; however, the opening essay-like introduction gives it its greatest value. Enjoyable. The "rules" that follow are sensible and clever, but brief. A good little reference book and would appeal also to those who like daily reminders.

A great reminder of all the simple guidelines that should guide our eating habits. Let's see how they work in practice...
