Meh - listened as an audio book and lost attention quite a few times.

I wish I could give this book a 3.5, because it was good and above average…but something holds me back from calling it great. While there were some predictable plot twist, others caught me of guard - . I enjoyed the flashes forward and backwards in time with the plot and Jenny and the detective being the device that furthers it along. I also enjoyed the alternating perspectives of the wives, although some POVs felt better written then others. All in all an enjoyable read.

This delivered as a fast paced house wives murder mystery set in Atlanta. I enjoyed listening to it and thought there was some interesting plot to it. I did not anticipate the ending.
I disagree with another reader about the biphobia warning. It seems based on a minor comment and I struggled to pick up on the primary complaint. The character who made the comment said means things about everyone in her life.

Wasn’t as bad as You Shouldn’t Have Come Here but this book is almost as laughably bad. The plot twists depend on the reader caring about what happens to any of the characters but since they’re all horrible people it doesn’t feel like it matters what happens to them or which one is dead (even though that’s pretty obvious from the beginning). On top of the awful character this book is boring. It’s just bad people doing bad things to other bad people and it’s never clear why any of the women pretend to be friends with one another when it’s so clear that they all hate one another.

2.5 stars. It was honestly really tacky. And the whole thing built up to one moment and it was kind of a let down.
