This is the best book I've read in a long time. It made me fall in love with reading like a child again. I purposely tried to read it slowly and ended up zooming through the latter half of the book in less than a day. The characters, plot, and setting are absolutely alive. The banter is witty. The burn is slow and lovely. A million stars would not be a high enough rating. Currently salivating over the release of Book 2!

I completely agree with the other reviews for this book.
The first half was excellent, a 5-star read. Then we went back over eveurbting that had already happened, but from another POV. I did enjoy this, on the whole, but to begin with I was bored with it. I knew how their relationship would develop. I know when he would see her. I really wish the author had either left this mysterious and filled in Lorn's backstory in the next book, or done alternative POVs. The last half of the book felt like such a drag in comparison.
Having said that, I loved the characters and the story and the setting. It was undeniably slow going and took a long time to get interesting. But worth it in the end.

Between was recommended by a random Instagram reel I came across and I am so happy it found me. The whole book was magical. I loved all the characters (especially Tractor, because, come on, who doesn't love a drunk mini unicorn?) and the amount of humor was perfect.
Definitely cannot wait for the second book!

3.9⭐️ This is giving Halloween Town vibes! Ok, I feel like I would have loved this book SO MUCH MORE had we stopped before the change of POV. Could his POV been a chapter or two and then an epilogue? We didn’t need all of that! His pov was like 2.9⭐️ and hers was 4.5⭐️. It left me with mixed feelings about the series. HOWEVER I will be excited to see where this series goes. Also there is 0 spice so I can recommend it to my Mother in law lol which is always a plus!
