The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life: Before 8AM

This book isn't for me, especially since I've already read plenty of self-help books. The tips provided didn't seem something out of the ordinary. Also, there was a lot of shameless plugging of his books and app. It felt like I was being sold stuff without having shown any interest.
I always believed that success is not based on the time you wake up every morning. But this book proved me wrong. For me, there is indeed miracle in early mornings. I realized that if you want to build a habit or learn a new skill, early morning is the best time to do that with a mini habit, every day, consistently.
A great book that helped me in more ways than one to get a life of better quality and gave me the reassurance that I do have control over my life and feelings even though I knew this for along time, I never felt it. Through the miracle morning this changed!
I got the whole point, nothing new was being mentioned.
A whole lot of self-promotional spin on old ideas

A book that everyone should have.
Flows nicely. Self help, motivation.
I like self help books that are written by people who have overcome big challenges physically, mentally, emotionally. The real lived experiences are relatable and meaningful.

This book echoed what you will read in many self-improvement books. However, the defining differences were 1) acknowledgment that the recommendations are difficult to enact consistently but worthwhile, 2) clear strategy for how to turn intended changes into habits, and 3) the suggested accountability options. I also appreciated that the examples did not bog down the narrative, as is sometimes the case in the genre.
This is a fairly quick read with a 30-day challenge attached.
It made me want to go back and re-read The Artist’s Way, which I found inspirational, but difficult to enact. I’m curious if this will bridge the gap for me.

He gives a lot of great advice, and I've taken up a similar morning routine to the one described here. It really gets me motivated and focused on my day when I take the time to do it! That said, I am not a fan of his writing style. His constant references to living your "Level 10 Life" made me cringe. You can skip the first half of the book and literally cut to the actual morning routine that starts in the middle.
