I felt like this book really wasn't needed and it was so aggravating to keep telling myself I had to finish this book. At least now I can say I've read all the Red Queen books.

My heart shattered at the end. Not just from sadness, but for the end of a great, great series. Following Mare's story was something I looked forward to, from the beginning all the way to the very end. I remember putting the book down after I had just finished it and cried.

This is less of a review of the book, and more of a reflection after reading it.
I don't know if i'll find many books that are so hard hitting and inspirational as the Red Queen series.

That's all.
Except,
Maven deserved better. A lot better.

Yes, it was good. Could she have included the end of Cal and Mare at the end of War Storm and cut out 100+ pages of nonsense? Yes.

I feel like this would’ve been more helpful if I read it during the series, but there is a lot of cool stuff in here.

I can’t believe this is the end! I remember when I first read Red Queen, it was my first introduction into YA fantasy and for that it will forever hold a special place in my heart. Since the release of all the books, I have re-read them all twice and maybe even thrice over. I never want to leave this world. I never want to forget these characters or the impact they had on me. I have nothing but love for this series. This was the perfect wrap up that I needed. Thank you Victoria Aveyard for this series and this final book to bring everything to a close.
