I enjoyed this book but I didn't love, Both the cover of book and art style. The writing was fine and the atmosphere was okay also the ending was fine. The paced of plot was bit slow and I think the characters needed to be flash out bit more.

A really cute start to a shoujo manga with an interesting story! I really like the photography aspect and the characters work really well together.

A fine start, “Love in Focus” Volume 1 is a cute beginning with some classic tropes.

Mako’s an aspiring photographer who moves into dormitrity with childhood friend Kei to pursue her dream. Once there she meets a bunch of new friends, including a mysterious boy with an aversion to photography. Mako’s new dream is, of course, to photograph him. Sweet and simple, “Love in Focus” didn’t surprise me but its lovely art and dedication to the basics really shines.

This is a super cute Manga.  I was immediately invested and interested in the characters, and I can't wait to see how their relationships grow!

The start of this manga wasn’t that great tbh but as the volume progresses I really liked the dynamics between the characters especially Kei-chan, Mako and Amemura (I think this last character is my fave - he is soooooo handsome!) and I really like Luka too *swoons* I feel like there’s going to be a love traingle which is something I really enjoy in shojo manga.

Love in Focus is your typical shojo manga storyline so if you’re a fan of this genre you will probably enjoy this. I am certainly interested to see what happens in volume 2!

I enjoyed That Wolf-Boy is Mine!, for the most part, but it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. So I was intrigued by this series, but a little hesitant. It starts off pretty good, though.
Mako moves to live in a dorm with her childhood best friend, because there's a prestigious photo club at the school he goes to, and she wants to pursue photography. After her grandfather passes away, she's having a hard time moving on, but they always bonded over photography.
Once she gets there, she's welcomed for the most part. There's an interesting group of students staying at this house. Firstly, there's Kei, her childhood best friend. She's never thought of him as anything more, but it's clear he's trying to stake his claim on her. Then there's Amemura, the quiet boy who lives in the house, and who seems to dislike having his photo taken. Him and Mako get off on the wrong foot from the beginning, but because of Mako's persistence, seem to be forming a friendship.
I was a little iffy about this series, and am a little bothered by Kei, at this point. But I'm also really interested in the relationship forming between Mako and Amemura. I'm definitely going to read more, because I'm intrigued, and I want to see where this goes next.
