What would you do for money?

To Die For by Lisa Gray is a mystery thriller set in a newly built $50M home on the Malibu coast. Each realtor has a reason for going after the sale and a motive for murder. The book is told from each of the realtors points of view, before and after the murder and shows what lengths each will go to for the money.
I would recommend this book for anyone who likes a classic mystery who done it, no matter the age.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC! To Die For will be released August 1st!

Andi Hart and the other realtors of Saint Realty Brokerage are tasked with selling the $50 million Malibu Beach Drive property. The selling agent will earn the $1 million commission. Each of the 5 competing realtors has to ask themselves “What would I do for a million dollars?” When a dead body is found at the brokers open the perfect home becomes a crime scene. The question becomes, “How far did someone go to really earn a million dollars?”

The story follows Andi Hart, a real estate agent, and the other 4 realtors she works with, Verona, Hunter, Krystal, and Myles, along with Detective Aribo. The book is written from multiple perspectives as well as multiple timelines, before and after the murder. I thought each perspective was well written and it was easy to tell whose chapter I was reading. All of the perspectives set up the motives and secrets for each of the realtors as well as their desperate need to win the money.

This book was a fast paced page-turner. Even with all the secrets and drama I never did guess the murderer! I really enjoyed this book!

Real estate can be a cutthroat business.
Different people vying for the same commission.
The love of money, the root of evil, and so forth.
There were a handful of characters, all their stories told separately. I feared I wouldn't be able to keep up with all of them, but I did.
The author did a great job of starting with the murder, the flipping back to the recent past, as to how each character's stories collided to the big showing of the home. (What was it called? A broker's open maybe?)
The who was a tad too obvious for my taste, but there were enough hints to make the reader consider other people of being the murderer.
The last chapter was probably my fave. A twist to the big reveal.
