فتاة تبلغ من العمر ٢٢ ربيعا غارقة في البكاء في غرفتها تخشى أن يدخل أحد ما الغرفة ويظن أنه قد اصابها الجنون.

بعد هالرواية تغيرت نظرتي لكل طفل خصوصاً اطفال الست والخمس سنوات ومن الان اي تصرف لهم راح يكون له مبرر بالنسبة لي.
ثلاث ايام جميلة مع الناموسة زيزا وشجرته الرائعة جداً.

زيزا الطفل الشقي المفتقد للحنان، هذا الطفل البريء الذي كان كل جريمته أنه نضج قبل الأوان!
من اقرب ما قرأت إلى قلبي، أنفطر قلبي وبكيت بكاءاً لم أفعله منذ فترة، تعاطفت بشدة مع زيزا ضحكت معه وبكيت(بكثرة)

This book was sweet and sour; there was a lot of hurt and love in Zezé’s family. 
I could picture 1920’s Brazil thoroughly through this book too ❤️

I also appreciated Portuga and Zezé’s friendship.

It was devastating to lose Portuga in the end and the trauma endured was saddening. Definitely not what I was expecting 😫

I’m giving this 3.5 out of 5 stars, thank you ✨ I can understand why people might deem this a classic.

This is a mostly nice story but as the book is based in 1920's it does contain some brutal child abuse as the main character is beaten on a few occassions ... perhaps a normal thing for 1920's Brazil but atill hard to read.

Whilst it is a popular book since its publication in 1968 and the musings of a carefree naughty five year old are charming and funny the abuse just dorsnt sit well with me and thats why it only gets 3 stars.

สำนวนภาษาไม่ค่อยลื่นไหลเลย ค่อนข้างแข็ง อ่านแล้วเลยไม่อิน ไม่รู้เป็นเพราะเรื่องมันเก่ามากๆ ด้วย หรือเพราะแปลแบบตรงเกินไป

"Por que contam coisas às criancinhas?"

Fui confiante achando que ia ser só mais um desses clássicos bobinhos e acabei levando um soco no estômago, dando uma leve choradinha capítulo sim e capítulo também.
