Was OK. I didn't like how casually the guy (can't remember name) threw away the girl without questions. Curious to see how the series ends. Better than some I've read recently.
Reread...it’s getting annoying that EVERY SINGLE MAN THE MAIN CHARACTER MEETS FALLS MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER...I MEAN “COME ON?!” BARF. This gets worse in the third installment. Annoying. Likely won’t stay with the series. Blech.

DNF. A lot of telling and not showing. I was hoping the writing would improved by the second book. It didn't. The premise in the first book was enough to keep me intrigued, but I couldn't even make it halfway through this book before I was annoyed with the writing and bored with the plot, so I gave up.

What a ride! So many interesting elements and twists and turns. I am loving the fact that I have no idea what may happen next. I am so invested in several of the characters and potential plot lines that I couldn’t put the book down! Cyrene’s romantic life is what I’d call an absolute clusterfuck and I don’t know what I want to actually happen in it because I simultaneously love and hate all her suitors. 😂 I’d love to see more of Ahlvie, Rhea, Avoca, and Daufina…maybe even more if Orden. I love Dean (I think) and I am still perplexed by the Dremylon brothers. All I know is that the more j read the juicier and messier this story gets and I was due for a group of hot mess characters. Honestly I don’t know if this series is actually good or if I’m just in the perfect mood to read it, but here I am about to jump into book 3 and having the time of my life.
Bound is the third installment in Amy Lane's Little Goddess series and the incredible story just continues. The writing style is brilliant and poetic bringing tears to my eyes at many times.
Cory and the crew have returned to Green's Hill and are enrolling in Sac State for college so they can live at home and Cory can rightfully take on her place as Queen. She is now bonded with Bracken and through no fault of her own she's married to the Avian, Nicky. So now Cory has three men in her life. Two she is madly in love with and the other she cares for as a friend and a queen.
This is the basis for the whole book. Bonds. With family, friends, lovers, people and your beloved's. Of course it wouldn't be Green, Cory, Bracken, Grace, Arturo, Renny and Nicky if there weren't an evil out to hurt them and theirs. Because of what happened at the end of book two and Green increasing his power base and allies, he now has to travel to secure those relationships, leaving Cory struggling to be a leader while missing her beloved.
One of the best things about this book is that you get so many different point of views. Mainly it's Cory, Bracken and Green but you also get Nicky and in one instance you get Arturo! I love reading the differing POV's. I just plain love this whole story and the growing that Cory does throughout.
"Wreathes of flowers bind me tight As my lover takes me with care and might My legs are bound around his hips My mouth is pressed against his lips I breathe because my body must This is why I plunge against his thrusts My heart has sworn its silent oaths My body too has pledged its troths One troth to him with whom I reign And one to him who keeps me sane One troth to one I keep from death And one to the ghost with whom I've slept As my soul is chained with silken threads To every lover in my bed I'm tied with love to the land I see And those who dwell are bound to me. My fate was made with choices free Bound to the truth I'm bound to be."

I don't like the rediculous love triangle that turns into a square. The author needs to explain why everyone falls in love with her to make this plot point believable.
The rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper with this continuing tale! I have been waiting so long to find out more and it let me with more questions and more answers but still begging for more!
The complexity of this story has me spellbound and just gasping. The whole tale of the Doma is beyond interesting and the concept that Linde has weaved is nothing less than stellar.
We continue with Cyrene trying to find out more and why things are happening. In her travels she meets more people and things get more complicated. I am left with visions in my head of how this story plays out. Lots of twists and turns and unexpected surprises occur that leave you speechless!
Overall this book has me just on edge. I need more. I crave more. What Linde has done with this series is just wow. I am honestly at a loss for words with how much I LOVE this series. I am very much looking forward to more! If you want something unique, one of a kind and just laced with legends and spellbinding moments, please grab this series. You will not regret it. Even my 12 year old daughter adores it.

Much more better than the 2nd one and now one to go, but I'll wait a while just to let this stuff settle down.

Another dose of fantasy for my poor deprived fantasy loving heart—The Bound takes up where The Affiliate left off. Cyrene is off on her mission and as she begins her adventure you are immediately drawn back into the world that K.A. Linde has created. It is full of adventure, suspense and magic. Linde does an incredible job building this world, filling it with intricate details and vivid descriptions that bring it to life. I was able to picture things easily in my mind. Then she filled it with a story of twists and turns that kept my mind occupied and extremely entertained. I had to pay attention or I’d miss the littlest of clues that might just mean something later. Or would it?
If you read my review of The Affiliate, you’ll know that I loved the characters in this world. They are complex, flawed and well written. And as Cyrene continues to make friends and enemies, this continues to be the case. Several new characters join the story, adding to it, increasing the depth and the mystery of it all. This is one giant puzzle and I just want to figure it out! Add in the feels that are pulled out of you. And you have one spectacular novel.
I definitely recommend this series for any fans of the fantasy genre and for those looking to make a foray into it. This book will hook you deep. I cannot wait for the next one.
