Book 3. Super fun. Just don’t like slurs in books. I like that see a person  menstruating.

Continues to be an enjoyable series, if a little too fast-paced to ever really take in where the girls are and how long they've been in any particular space and time.

Paper Girls continues in much the same direction as the previous ones: fun, female focused cast, but still getting more new questions than answers. I did not find out about the dinosaurs, but we do learn about the origins of time travel, what the Apple device is, and what the deal was with the field hockey stick last volume, as well as a bit more about KJ through some dialogue and another religion influenced nightmare. Volumes 1 and 3 both open with one of the girls having a symbolic nightmare and
ends with the girls being thrown to different places across time. Will this continue to Volume 5? I hope not, I may have to wait awhile for Volume 6.

It seems like outside of our core four cast members most characters don't stick around for more than a volume. While Nando and Heck were mentioned in volume 2, they and the other Erins do not appear, and it will probably be a while before Wari and Qanta reappear.
Although, I'm not sure if Qanta will be seen alive unless the girls end up in Qanta's past.
Historically, in stories where this happens a lot, I will stop bothering to care about newer characters, because there doesn't seem to be much of an incentive to do so.

Aaaand we’re back with some of the problematic stuff from the first volume with a little misogyny thrown in as well. It still bothers me that this was written by a group of men.
