I won't go into too much detail.
Overall, a great sci-fi adventure/opera. Divided into an A plot and B plot, with A being more adventure orientated, and B being more space opera politics. Characters are generally likable and fairly well developed.
The book does drone on with exposition to start out with, and it really bogged down the begining, especially when it threw out so many new terms.

Just as a note, while the cover does depict two scantily clad men, there really isn't a lot of homoerotic elements in the story. In truth, its definitely a queer story, but not a solely gay story.

I typically don't read science fiction but this was really interesting, and intriguing. It is a bit of a long read, but the characters and situations are so well defined that I wanted it to keep going.
