oh...my...GOD!!! This is the most awesome and the craziest series I have read. Its just mind-blowingly amazing. Never in a million years did I imagine that this world existed in someone's mind and am so happy its been shared.

I would reccommend this series to anyone. Imaginative, thrilling and totally original, I am so glad I decided to give this series a chance.

The characters are so well developed. They grow and develop, and hurt and learn. And the countdowns...the countdowns! The whole time I am just like wholly shit...whatsoever at the end of the crescendo?

I definitely will continue to read the Gone series and will be sad when this wild ride ends. Superb job Mr. Grant; I'm eagerly awaiting what's next.

Ik merk dat deze serie me een stuk meer begint aan te spreken. In het begin las ik eigenlijk alleen maar door omdat ik wilde weten hoe het ging aflopen, maar nu vind ik het oprecht best een leuke serie. Ondanks dat vind ik dat er nog wel veel gezeik in voorkomt. Na de examens en mijn examenreisje maar eens aan het 5de deel beginnen. Nu eerst weer eens wat anders.

Auch bei diesem Band konnten mich besonders die große Anzahl an Handlungsstränge und die vielschichtigen Charaktere begeistern. Ich liebe es, wie oft der Point of View gewechselt wird und trotzdem so eine nahtlose Erzählung ermöglicht wird. Die Story ist wie immer unglaublich spannend und dieser Band ist meiner Meinung nach noch schockierender als die letzten! Ich liebe diese Reihe einfach!

Michael Grant has a sick twisted mind to come up with all the things he puts his characters through...and I love it! The Gone series is one of the best out there even if it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It is very original and the characters are so real you really feel like you know each and every one of them. It has been a year since I read Lies and yet as I started Plague I still knew who all these kids were because the characters just come alive on the page. I love how each character is unique with their own set of beliefs and their own set of issues. The characters of these books represent every aspect of society, the good people, the bad people, the bigots, the heroes, the power hungry, the ambitious, the ones wanting the be left alone, the ones wanting to help, etc. They are all in Perdido Beach. I think that is the real strength in Grant's writing. Sure his fight scenes aren't always the best, but his characters are awesome. And I love all the new twists...bugs that eat their way out of you and become giant cockroaches! A government conspiracy! What more can you ask for. I just can't wait to see how this series plays out.
