This is my favorite hockey gods book yet! Miles is brutal but also somehow I am ok with it. 🤣
Miles has loved Willow since first sight. He didn’t step in when he should have and his brother stole her…. for a bet. A stupid humiliating bet. I don’t like Knox and that didn’t change throughout this book. Mikes saves Willow from herself and attempted assault. He has harsh methods but they work.

“She’s in pieces now, and I’m not going to glue her back together. I’m not going to paint a pretty picture for her to live in instead of reality. I’m going to forge her into something new. Something stronger.”
My oh my! I was super excited to dive into Willow’s story and it did not disappoint. Sis went through it in this book. She was a little chaotic, a bit messy, and extremely self destructive after being made a fool of by Knox. I could see her character being a bit cringe to some, but for me, in this storyline, I loved it.
Pair her with the better of the two Whiteshaw brothers, Miles, and color me obsessed. He fights for her every step of the way.
Not going to lie, I shipped Willow and Knox, but Knox doesn’t hold a candle to Miles. It was refreshing to read about an MMC that knows he’s in love, looks out for & takes care of the FMC, & make her accept and admit her feelings, too… even if some of his tactics are morally corrupt.
Unlisted trigger: alcoholism/substance abuse

I LOVE A GOOD HOCKEY ROMANCE!
This book gets all of the stars, all of them. The way this book had me in a chokehold since I started it yesterday is insane!! I loved every minute of this book, and I honestly would sell my left kidney to experience their Willow and Miles love story all over again! This book was beautifully written and I can’t wait to see what the other books in this series have in store for me. And now of course I have a new book boyfriend to add to my never-ending list because Miles is everything. Literally gave “if he wanted to, he would” throughout the entire book! Looking forward to seeing if the other Hockey Gods have the same energy.

Review
I HAVE A NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND AND HIS NAME IS MILES.
I loved this book from start to finish. Miles and Willow are absolutely adorable together and I loved the way their relationship progressed. It was an unconventional start, absolutely. She had dated his brother prior and don’t even get us started on the god damn bet. But I love that Miles never faulted and kept caring and showing his love for Willow in his own totally messed up but romantic way. Yes I called it romantic, sue me. I was into it!
The smutty scenes you guys, I loved. You all know I am a HUGE fan of somno and this had loads of it. Bloody hot read.
