3.5 stars. Not as engaging as book 1, but worth finishing the trilogy to see what happens to Alina.

Really enjoyed the first book more than this but I’m excited for the finale!

Boring and annoying. I'm really perplexed at the high reviews. I read over half the book before giving up. Maybe I've just read to many great, mind blowing fantasy books to be into this one.

I give this a 3.5. I was going to give it a 3 but its better than Red Queen so it got half a star. This book kind of bored me. It is a good book but I didnt really enjoy it that much. I think I went in expecting more romance. Unfortunately the romance I was anticipating and Mal sucks. I do appreciate the characters and how they are more realistic with flaws that make me want to slap them.

I normally dont like middle booka in trilogies and I am hoping I like the third book more.
