Jesus, quite a gamble by Bruce and a real shock of a splash page for us. Strange twist at the end,but I’m intrigued to see where King takes it all. Can’t believe I’m still enjoying Janin's work.

Great Batman comic with Ivy has the villain. A more psychological battle and less physical, a good and original change!

Can someone at DC make up their minds about Ivy's eating habits?! It's turned into nothing more than a way to not come up with proper motivations for her. She's a cold killer? Why, it's because she isn't human and feeds through sunlight/because people eat plants and she loves them/because people kill animals and she is a vegan. STOP.IT!

Also, since when does Harley have FOUR PhDs in NEUROLOGY? I mean, I'm all for her getting praised for her intelligence and for her impressive scholar education, but that seems a bit over the top. Sure, psychology studies include neurology but operating on someone does require to be A neurologist not a psychologist/psychiatrist with some neurology knowledge. Ivy couldn't have used Harley's brain for this because Harley DOES NOT know how to operate a fucking brain. And Ivy isn't stupid, she would never have risked killing or even disabling Bruce while Selina is still "conscious". She knows the consequences. Of course, I'm also mad at the lost opportunity for Harlivy as Empresses of Earth. This won't be forgotten, King!

Not to mention that, although she has sometimes lost control of her powers or became too enraged about nature's fate to have limits, she's well-known for being a careful planner and someone who remains calm even in dire situations. Tons of BatmanxIvy showdowns have been about him being mad at her for knowing perfectly well what she was doing and how bad and wrong it was. I can get her being annoyed by Bruce's questions/investigations, but using Superman to hit him despite the presence of other super-beings who wouldn't have killed him? About some supposed "hanging"? Pleaaaase! My girl would never be so basic.
